Langstroth (Draft)

Langstroth hive: A modular, box-on-box beehive with removable frames spaced to “bee space” (~6–9 mm), invented by Rev. Lorenzo Langstroth (patented 1852). It scales by adding brood boxes and honey supers (deep/medium/shallow) and is the dominant standard in North America.
